Software Installation

In order to get keep your store's information and your Quickbooks information synchronized, a synch module must be installed on your computer. There are 2 options for this.

  • For QB POS users, you will need to download and install the Quickbooks Web Connector. This plugin for QBPOS allows you to synchronize your data from within Quickbooks.
  • For QBFS users, you will need the SAM (Synchronization Automation Module). The installation of SAM will be handled by one of our technicians using software that allows them to connect to your computer and install it. The computer that you choose to install the program on must meet the system requirements and Quickbooks prerequisites. The technician will use the MAC address of your active network card to generate a license for that machine. The software cannot be moved to another machine without generating a new license, and there is a fee for moving the software, so please choose a computer that can handle the load of entering all of your transactions into quickbooks and synchronizing your data with the web server.
