Remote Access Reduces Workload

My name is Mark Demma and I am the owner of Tech Solutions of South Florida Inc. a small networking and repair company in Margate Florida. I am the only employee of my company and as a result I must field my own calls and execute all services from the field. Without SAM this would not be possible. After completing service for a client, I open up a web browser on their computer, log into my SAM installation back at the office, enter or pull up the customer job, fill in the invoice, record the check payment, and print up the invoice/receipt. When I get in at the end of the day...the books are done, it's all in QuickBooks...I used to have to spend an hour and a half taking my messy hand written invoices from the day and entering them into QB. Then periodically I would have to collect all my paper invoices and check them against my QB invoices for accuracy. Paper is gone now with SAM. Other useful features include: the ability to see a customer’s service history...on site. My accountant can use my login to run every report that he needs...from his office, and then make journal entries into QuickBooks. I pay less since he no longer has to drive out to get my QB file, and I feel better knowing my books haven't left my possession.
The best thing was how amazed my clientelle is by all this...it blows their minds when I pull up SAM and serve them up an invoice, or tell them what service was performed six months ago. The first time a customer sees it they always compliment how advanced, efficient, or organized my business is. It really took my small business to a higher level, and all of this was FREE. When my business grows and I hire someone to help me I will definitely upgrade to the multi-user version, no question.
