QuickBooks Integrated Online Store: System Requirements

For QuickBooks Pro/Premier/Enterprise: You will need QB installed on the computer that the Synch Server will reside on. The QB datafile must be in your network though it can reside on another computer. QuickBooks: Pro/Premier/Enterprise versions, editions 2003 thru 2008 are compatible. Since we use the Intuit SDK, even future versions will be compatible. 2004 or newer is preferred (required if you want to save CC#s to QB). Premier/Ent is required to save orders as Sales Orders. QB for Macs is not currently supported at this time. OS: Windows 2k/XP/Vista or Windows Server 2000/2003 RAM: 512MB minimum, 1GB strongly preferred. If you use the computer for multiple applications, 1GB is recomended so all your applications can run comfortably and reliably. Go to your task manager and see how much RAM you are using in the performance tab. If close to or higher than what you have installed, add more. CPU: Pentium 4 or newer. Internet: Wired broadband preferred. Satellite and wireless broadband connections may work, but we cannot guarantee reliability over these types of connections. Static IP & Router: If you plan to use a Windows Server based OS, you will need to have a Static IP address and a router. For XP/Vista workstation installs this is not required.

For QuickBooks Point of Sale: You will need QB POS installed on the computer that the Synch Program will reside on. This shoudl be the QB POS computer designated as the 'POS Server'. QuickBooks POS: Any edition of QB POS version 5 thru version 8 are compatible. Pro and Pro Multi-store are supported (but not Basic). Since we use the Intuit SDK, even future versions will be compatible. OS: Windows 2k/XP/Vista or Windows Server 2000/2003 RAM: 256MB minimum, 512MB strongly preferred.
